Chris Pine's new Jack Ryan movie has been given a new title.

The actor is set to take on the lead role in the Kenneth Branagh directed film, which will now be called 'Jack Ryan: Shadow One'.

Pine is the latest actor to take on the role as the popular Tom Clancy character returns to the big screen at the end of the year.

The movie sees Branagh back in the director's chair for the first time since the success of 'Thor' back in 2011. Branagh will also star in the movie alongside Pine.

Keira Knightley will play Cathy Ryan, while Kevin Costner and Colm Feore are both also on the cast list.

It has already been a successful year for Pine with 'Star Trek Into Darkness' under his belt. But with this new Jack Ryan movie, Pine looks set to establish himself as one of the new action stars of the big screen.

Jack Ryan: Shadow One is released 26th December.
