It was confirmed yesterday that should the long-awaited 'Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society' film be made, it will be called simply ‘Guernsey’. And the island should know within the next few weeks whether some of it will be shot here.

It has been confirmed in the last couple of weeks that producers from Fox Studios, which is set to bank-roll the movie, are due in the island this month for a final viewing before deciding if they want to film here.
